Egypt and Ukraine : establish the respect of human rights

The Subcommittee on human rights has held a public hearing on the European Neighbourhood Policy, with a focus on the human rights situation in Ukraine and Egypt. If in Ukraine the situation is improving, it is still worrying in Egypt where several rights are not respected : freedom of press, freedom to demonstrate... Establish the respect of human rights is the most important form of policy of the EU, so it ask these two countries to improve them.
